On Monday 19th of January, the 2nd and 3rd year Primary students went on an exciting visit to the Railway Museum. As soon as we arrived, we began a tour where we could see trains from many different eras, from the oldest to the most modern. It was like travelling back in time and discovering how the railway has evolved over the years!
El pasado lunes 19 de enero, el alumnado de 2º y 3º de Primaria realizó una emocionante visita al Museo del Ferrocarril. Nada más llegar, comenzamos un recorrido donde pudimos ver trenes de muchas épocas diferentes, desde los más antiguos hasta otros más modernos. ¡Fue como viajar en el tiempo y descubrir cómo ha evolucionado el ferrocarril a lo largo de los años!
One of the moments that surprised us most was the visit to the largest model railway in Spain. We were fascinated by the small trains in motion, the landscapes, the stations and all the careful details. It was incredible to see how everything worked at the same time and to learn how the tracks and routes are organised.
Uno de los momentos que más nos sorprendió fue la visita a la maqueta de trenes más grande de España. Nos quedamos fascinados observando los pequeños trenes en movimiento, los paisajes, las estaciones y todos los detalles tan cuidados que tenía. Fue increíble ver cómo todo funcionaba a la vez y aprender cómo se organizan las vías y los trayectos.
To end the visit, we took part in a very fun workshop where we built our own locomotive. Each child was able to make their own and take it home as a souvenir of this special day.
Para terminar la visita, participamos en un taller muy divertido en el que construimos nuestra propia locomotora. Cada niño y niña pudo montar la suya y llevársela como recuerdo de este día tan especial.
Without a doubt, it was an educational and fun experience that we will all remember fondly.
Sin duda, fue una experiencia educativa y divertida que todos recordaremos con mucho cariño.
