This week the students of Manufacturing and Vehicles Mechanics have enjoyed an unique technical visit: the Micro Analysis Center at Autónoma University in Madrid (CMAM).
Pudieron ver cómo se hace el mantenimiento del acelerador de partículas en el que ensayan materiales organismos y empresas de toda Europa. Este centro está a la cabeza en I+D y abrió sus puertas a nuestros alumnos de grado medio y superior.
They could see how the maintenance in the particles accelerator is done. European companies test materials in it. This center is in the lead on I+D and opened the doors to our students of Middle and Higher levels.
Allí pudieron vivir un entorno científico, en el que se ensayan todo tipo de materiales a casi cinco mil voltios y se investigan nuevas terapias contra el cáncer cómo la protón-terapia.
The students could live a scientific atmosphere, in which all types of materials are trialed, to almost five thousand volts, and new therapies against the cancer are researched, such as the proton-therapy.
Sin duda una oportunidad para despertar su curiosidad y abrir nuevos horizontes de aprendizaje.
Doubtlessly, it was an chance to wake their curiosity up and open new learning horizons.
