Last Friday we celebrated Carnival at GSD IS Buitrago. We started the morning enjoying a very special play performed by the TSEAS students. They made us laugh, feel excited, and even participate from our seats. It was amazing to see how much effort and care they had put into every detail. During the morning, we also did crafts and played board games with our classmates.
El pasado viernes celebramos carnaval en el colegio de GSD IS Buitrago. Comenzamos la mañana disfrutando de un teatro muy especial realizado por los alumnos de TSEAS. Nos hicieron reír, emocionarnos y participar desde nuestros asientos. Fue fantástico ver cuánto esfuerzo y cariño habían puesto en cada detalle. Durante la mañana también hicimos manualidades y jugamos a juegos de mesa con nuestros compañeros.
In the afternoon, we all gathered in the central playground with our families. It was wonderful to see the school filled with joy and excitement! We began with a fun musical bingo played in teams. We listened carefully to the songs and tried to guess them so we could mark them on our bingo cards. The excitement was everywhere!
Por la tarde nos reunimos todos en el patio central junto con nuestras familias. ¡Fue maravilloso ver el colegio lleno de alegría e ilusión! Comenzamos con un divertido bingo musical por equipos. Escuchábamos atentamente las canciones para adivinarlas y marcarlas en nuestro cartón. ¡La emoción se respiraba en el ambiente!
After that came one of the most awaited moments: the costume parade in the sambódromo. Each class proudly showed their costumes with creativity, rhythm, and lots of enthusiasm. The judges had a very difficult time awarding the certificates — what an amazing level! Throughout the afternoon, we also enjoyed different games with our classmates and families. There were smiles, challenges, and lots of participation all around the playground.
Después llegó uno de los momentos más esperados: el desfile en el sambódromo. Cada clase mostró sus disfraces con creatividad, ritmo y muchísima ilusión. Los jueces lo tuvieron muy díficil para entregar los diplomas, ¡vaya nivelazo! Durante la tarde también disfrutamos de distintos juegos junto a nuestros compañeros y familias. Hubo sonrisas, retos y mucha participación por todo el patio.
To finish this unforgettable day, we danced together in a fantastic Zumba masterclass led by our teacher Susana. We jumped, moved, and had so much fun — the perfect ending to an amazing festival
Para terminar este día inolvidable, bailamos juntos en una fantástica masterclass de zumba ofrecida por la profe Susana. Saltamos, nos movimos y nos divertimos muchísimo. El broche perfecto para un festival increíble.
