This week is being very special because it is the last week of the school year! We are doing many different activities to celebrate, and yesterday we enjoyed a fantastic gymkhana all together in the playground.
¡Esta semana está siendo súper especial porque es la última del curso! Estamos haciendo un montón de actividades diferentes para celebrarlo, ayer disfrutado de una fantástica gymkana todos juntos en el patio.
The circuit was full of fun challenges from start to finish. To begin with, students tested their wits with the «broken telephone» by writing the final word on a whiteboard. They also put to test their coordination in funny relay races with lots of different obstacles. They also sharpened their aim with target tosses into boxes and hoops and showed their speed sprinting in the classic handkerchief game.
El circuito estuvo lleno de retos divertidos de principio a fin. Para empezar, los alumnos pusieron a prueba su ingenio con el teléfono escacharrado escribiendo la palabra final en una pizarra. También pusieron a prueba su coordinación en unas divertidas carreras de relevos con varios obstáculos. También afinaron su puntería con los lanzamientos a cajas y aros, y demostraron su velocidad corriendo al máximo en el clásico juego del pañuelo.
The excitement continued in the sports and teamwork zones. All grades enjoyed games of dodgeball, volleyball and mini-sports like basketball and handball, adapted so everyone could play. We finished the circuit with the crazy transport race, which was the highlight of cooperation, featuring circuits where they had to carry balls without using their hands or balancing in pairs.
La adrenalina continuó en las zonas deportivas y de equipo. Todos los cursos disfrutaron de partidos de balón prisionero, voleibol y minideportes de baloncesto y balonmano adaptados para que todos pudieran jugar. Por último, el transporte loco fue el rey de la cooperación, con circuitos donde debían llevar pelotas sin usar las manos o haciendo equilibrios en parejas.
With this fantastic day, we close an incredible school year.
