These first two days of school are officially behind us! It was great to see the kids back in the classrooms, catching up with their classmates after the summer and sharing everything they did during the holidays. There were plenty of hugs, laughter, and non-stop chatting in the hallways right from the very start.
¡Los dos primeros días de curso ya han quedado atrás! Fue genial ver a los niños de vuelta en las aulas, poniéndose al día con sus compañeros después del verano y contándose todo lo que han hecho en las vacaciones. Hubo un montón de risas, abrazos y charla sin parar en los pasillos desde el primer momento.
Besides seeing their friends again, the students spent time getting to know their new teachers and seeing how their classrooms are set up for this term. The teachers went over the routine, explained how they are going to work this year, and helped everyone settle in so they feel comfortable right from day one.
Además de reencontrarse con sus amigos, los alumnos pasaron tiempo conociendo a sus nuevos profesores y viendo cómo están organizadas las clases para este curso. Los profes les explicaron las rutinas, cómo van a trabajar este año y les ayudaron a ubicarse para que se sientan cómodos desde el primer día.
To help everyone bond and get familiar with the school layout—especially the new students—we organized a fun gymkhana with different games. The kids teamed up, explored areas like the playground and main facilities, and got to know each other better, making sure no one felt lost. Thanks to everyone’s participation, group cohesion was amazing, and integration went really smoothly.
Para fomentar el compañerismo y ayudar a que se familiaricen con el cole —especialmente los alumnos nuevos—, organizamos una divertida gymkana con distintos juegos. Los niños hicieron equipo, recorrieron zonas como el patio y las instalaciones principales y se conocieron mucho mejor para que nadie se sintiera desorientado. Gracias a la participación de todos, la cohesión del grupo fue buenísima y la adaptación fue súper rápida.
So, now it is official: we are up and running! We are so excited about everything we have planned and cannot wait to share this journey with you. Welcome to the 26-27 school year!
