At GSD IS Buitrago, we’re passionate about inspiring the next generation of scientists, regardless of gender. On February 15th and 16th, in honour of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, we organized special activities to encourage our students to explore the wonders of STEM.
En GSD IS Buitrago, nos apasiona inspirar a las próximas generaciones de científicos y científicas, sin importar el género. Los días 15 y 16 de febrero, en honor al Día Internacional de la Mujer y la Niña en la Ciencia, organizamos actividades especiales para alentar a nuestros estudiantes a explorar las maravillas de STEM.
Thanks to the dedication of our vocational education students and teachers, primary school students had the chance to engage in hands-on experiments and microscope observations. From uncovering microscopic mysteries to exploring chemical reactions, our students were captivated by the world of science.
Gracias a la dedicación de nuestros estudiantes y profesores de formación profesional, los estudiantes de primaria tuvieron la oportunidad de participar en experimentos prácticos y observaciones con microscopios. Desde descubrir misterios microscópicos hasta explorar reacciones químicas, nuestros estudiantes quedaron cautivados por el mundo de la ciencia.
The day wasn’t just about experiments; it was about breaking gender stereotypes and empowering all students to pursue their interests in STEM. By providing these opportunities, we hope to awake a passion for science and inspire future leaders and innovators.
El día no solo trató de experimentos sino también de romper estereotipos de género y empoderar a todos los estudiantes para que persigan sus intereses en STEM. Al proporcionar estas oportunidades, esperamos despertar una pasión por la ciencia e inspirar a futuros líderes e innovadores.

Additionally, at GSD IS Buitrago, we are pleased to announce the installation of our new weather station, which will allow our students to further explore the fascinating world of science.

Furthermore, our 5th graders recently showcased their creativity by crafting a beautiful bunch of roses, adding a touch of artistry to our celebration of Valentine´s Day.
Además, nuestros estudiantes de quinto recientemente exhibieron su creatividad al elaborar un hermoso ramillete de rosas, añadiendo un toque de arte a nuestra celebración del Día de San Valentín.
