On Thursday May 14th, the students from 2nd and 5th grade visited the local elderly home as part of a special intergenerational activity. The children arrived with great enthusiasm, eager to meet the residents and share a meaningful morning together. It was a wonderful opportunity for them to learn from the wisdom and experiences of older generations.
El jueves 14 de mayo los alumnos de 2º y 5º de Primaria visitaron la residencia de mayores como parte de una actividad intergeneracional muy especial. Los niños llegaron con mucha ilusión, deseando conocer a los residentes y compartir con ellos una mañana llena de momentos significativos. Fue una oportunidad estupenda para aprender de la sabidurÃa y las experiencias de las generaciones mayores.
During the visit, the students spent time talking, playing, and exchanging stories with the residents. The atmosphere quickly filled with smiles, curiosity, and affection as both children and seniors discovered how much they had in common. These simple interactions created a warm and joyful environment that everyone enjoyed.

To celebrate San Isidro, the residents prepared a beautiful carnation workshop for the children. Together they crafted colorful paper flowers, sharing techniques, laughter, and creativity.
Para celebrar San Isidro, los mayores prepararon un precioso taller de claveles para los niños. Juntos elaboraron flores de papel llenas de color, compartiendo técnicas, risas y mucha creatividad.
It was a day filled with kindness, learning, and connection — an experience we hope to repeat soon.
